I provide Lactation Consultations in hospital, clinic and home settings. I care for Midwifery and non-Midwifery patients. I often meet with families before birth to develop a plan to avoid feeding problems, especially when breastfeeding didn’t go well with a previous child. I bring to my practice a strong academic background in the anatomy and physiology of childbearing & Lactation, a passion for evidence-based clinical practice, a clear communication style and deep compassion for your struggles. Together we can work through any challenge and get you back on track to meet your infant feeding goals. I look forward to meeting with you!

My journey into lactation consulting was sparked by my own struggles with breastfeeding. After a decade of experience as a registered midwife and nursing my first child for over three years, I assumed (incorrectly) that I was immune to having feeding challenges. My expansion into lactation consulting reflects my determination to turn our dyad’s personal struggles into meaningful support for other mothers in my community. I work with families with empathy and a dedication to continuous learning. My background equips me with a wealth of knowledge, and I look forward to offering your family valuable assistance in navigating the intricacies of breastfeeding.
